My Heart Accordion Fold Keepsake Book For Therm O Web

Hello and thank you for stopping by!  I've got a tutorial over on Therm O Web's blog for a Valentine themed keepsake book that I made with a bunch of Therm O Web products, a couple of square artists canvases and some watercolour paper.

I had fun with this one, the heart on the front was created from Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media Art Tape stenciled through Southern Ridge Trading Company's Heart stencil with Deco Foils and embossing powders.  The background was stenciled through StencilGirl Products Remembrandt Words stencil with Deco Foil Transfer Gel and then foiled with Rebekah Meier Designs Antique Pearl Mixed Media Transfer Foil.

The heart on the back cover was created from PeelnStick Toner Sheet covered with the new Wild Cherry Deco Foil which was then covered with multiple coats of UTEE.  The heart was then stamped with Tim Holtz's Ledger Script stamp while the UTEE was still warm (a thank you to my Creative Guide sisters at A Vintage Journey for reminding me about this technique!).

The inside 'pages' were formed from some accordion folded Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolour paper dipped into Worn Lipstick Distress ink.  They were then embellished with a selection of Valentine themed stamps, die cuts and tags from my stash, including Gina K. Designs soon to be released StampnFoil line from Therm O Web.

On the opposite side of the pages I added stamping (multiple stamps from my stash used here including some Fiskars, Stampers Anonymous, Tattered Angels and TPC Studios) along with letters die cut with Tim Holtz's Broadway Alphabet die from PeelnStick Toner Sheet covered with the new Plum Deco Foil.

I had a strip of the foiled Art Tape left over from the heart I'd made for the front cover so I added it here along with more stenciling through Southern Ridge's Heart stencil.

There's a step out tutorial over on Therm O Web's blog on how I created the covers of my keepsake book, hope to see you there and happy Valentine's Day everyone!
