Halloween Shadow Box Trio For Therm O Web

Hello everyone, I'm popping in to let you know that I have a tutorial over on Therm O Web's blog today for my Halloween Shadow Box Trio created with Rebekah Meier Designs Mixed Media line of products from Therm O Web.

I used Rebekah's Mixed Media Art Paper, Mixed Media Foam Sheets and Mixed Media Transfer Foil along with Eileen Hull's Trinket Box and Frame die from Sizzix and a plethora of Tim Holtz Halloween Idea-ology!

Distress Inks and Stains were applied to Mixed Media Art Paper on the front panels along with Tim's Diamonds stamp from Stampers Anonymous.  I love the texture from the Art Paper!  It's hard to see in the pictures but I embossed Mixed Media Art Foam that was covered with Patina Mixed Media Transfer Foil for the background panel and then painted it with acrylic paint to emphasize the debossed areas.

Tim's Poison Label Texture Fades embossing folder was used for this shadow box along with Halloween Ephemera, Apothecary Vials, Ancestors Paper Dolls, Halloween Word Band and either Halloween or Oddities Adornments.

The Cracked embossing folder was used with Antique Pearl Mixed Media Transfer Foil over more Foam Sheet on this background, coloured with black acrylic paint.

Pumpkin Pieces, Skulls Adornments, Boneyard and some skeleton 'bits' from my stash embellished the inside of the shadow box with another Halloween Word Band and a Wicked Adornment on the outside.

Those wonderful Crypt Cameos were used in this shadow box that was backed with a Mixed Media Foam Sheet embossed with Tim's Wood Plank Texture Fades embossing folder that was coloured with Distress Paints.

A Halloween Word Band here again on the outside (they were all coloured with Pitch Black Alcohol ink and then the lettering highlighted with Carved Pumpkin Distress Crayon) and another either Halloween or Oddities Adornment.  Love that owl!

More Halloween Ephemera, some putka pod pumpkins and die cut bat that I think I got with an order from The Funkie Junkie Boutique on the inside.

Hope you can pop by for my how to over on Therm O Web's blog, see you there!
