Persevering - The 100 Day Project Day 23 to 36

Hello everyone, well I am way behind in sharing my makes for #the100dayproject and to be honest I'm way behind on making my makes for #the100dayproject too LOL!   But I am determined to get 'er done so I'm soldiering on.  Here's a very quick recap of days 23 to 36 and I'll pop back in a day or two to get you (and me!) totally up to speed.  If you are interested you can find my previous #the100dayproject posts here:

 Day 23

Tim Holtz's watercolour resist technique, all the stamps are his as well (Stitches, Ornate Trims, Illustrated Garden, Words For Thought).  This page is very rough watercolour paper so the stamping wasn't too clear but hey ho, it is what it is!)

Day 24

Playing with embossing powders which I hadn't done for ages on Tim Holtz's Gearhead die cuts.

Day 25

Playing with new dies, Tim Holtz's Crochet and Adorned, so detailed!

Day 26

Just got Tim Holtz's The Professor stamp set, his goggles reminded me of a vintage car driver (anyone remember that goofy movie 'The Great Race'?!) so I combined him with Tim's Vintage Auto stamps.

Day 27

More gel plate play, I adore that StencilGirl Products stencil Black Birds In Trees, one of my favs!

Day 28

Homemade stencil with random letters and numbers from a bunch of different die sets.

Day 29

Used the Adorned die cuts I made a few days earlier on this page along with a Sizzix Birds die cut and that wonderful sentiment from Dina Wakley's Scribbly Birds stamp set.

Day 30

Masterboard background on some Therm O Web Mixed Media Heavyweight Sheets, lots of paint, stamps, splatters and stenciling, messy fun!

Day 31

Just got this handy dandy We R Memory Keepers Pocket Maker Punchboard so made some pockets and tags for future art journal pages.

Day 32

This page took a left turn and ended up in a totally different place than my original intent but I love it, looks like a stained glass window!  Distress Oxide background, monoprint of Carolyn Dube's Rectangular Patterns for Play stencil from StencilGirl Products over top and then Tim Holtz's Mosaic die cut from black cardstock over that with some of the off cuts stamped in white and added to the open spaces.

Day 33

Die cut a whole bunch of hole reinforcers for an art journal I was making and decided to use the 'leftovers' as a stencil!

Day 34

Rectangular Patterns For Play stenciling in black acrylic onto cheapo cardstock and spritzed with water before removing the stencil, interesting background but no idea where it's going!

Day 35

Had a piece of Therm O Web foil (Gina K. Designs Radiant Red Fancy Foil) left over after making an anniversary card for my in-laws so adhered it onto some iCraft Easy Cut Adhesive and then dusted it with Perfect Pearls mica powder.  Again, no idea where this will end up LOL!

Day 36

A real 'left overs' page, butterflies and flowers cut from bits of scrapbook paper over torn strips of gel plate print backgrounds and packing tape gel plate pulls.  Kind of love how it turned out!

Okay, I think that is enough for now, I have completed up to day 42 so far but am still several days behind where I should be so I'll be back when I get caught up!  Thanks as always for stopping by today and happy creating!
