Poltergeist's Parlor Halloween Tag

Hello everyone, I have a Halloween home decor tutorial to share with you over on Therm O Web's blog for my Poltergeist's Parlor tag created with their Deco Foil Metallix Gels and Foil Transfer Sheets on one of Tim Holtz's Etcetera Tags.

I had sooo much fun making this tag and love how it turned out!

I used Tim's new Abandoned Paper Stash on the background with stamping and stenciling and one of his new word bands from the Halloween Words Adornments.

The mirror was created with Deco Foil Silver Transfer Foil and then I used the Pure Gold Metallix Gel as a gilding medium on the mirror frame, worked a treat!

And of course I had to add one of my transparent ghosts (Tim Holtz's Frightful Things dies) but this time I die cut him from Therm O Web's Clear Toner Sheet which worked perfectly.

Broke out the Fireside die for this project, made for a great centerpiece in my spooky parlor!

And I am thrilled at how the Regions Beyond candles turned out when I used them with Champagne Mist Metallix Gel, make sure to pop by Therm O Web's blog for the how to!

Wicked Spiders and Bitty Bats also came out to play and I love how my police tape 'evidence' banner turned out!

I had lots of fun decorating the fireplace hearth with Skulls, Boneyard bones, putka pods and Mummy Cloth and moss.

Iridescent Deco Foil and the Cadaverous eye stamp made for a perfectly spooky crystal ball die cut with the Regions Beyond dies.

Glazed Pewter Metallix Gel was used for the fireplace surround and hearth while Brutus Monroe's Sunrise Transfer Foil made for perfect flames.

The stacked skulls were topped with another Metallix Gel candle with thanks to Stephanie Hutchinson for the shaped candle idea!

And I was inspired by the Etcetera Tags Bat Web Trims to make the shelf below the fireplace, I used a couple of Ruler Pieces and some stacked Bat Crazy dies to get a similar effect.

Hope you can visit Therm O Web's blog for the full tutorial, lots of details on this one so pour yourself a cup of your favourite potion and head on over to read all about it.  Thanks as always for stopping by today and happy haunting!
