Christmas Wishes Tunnel Card

Hello everyone, I'm back with another dimensional interactive Christmas card and this one is an inside tunnel card that I made after watching a video tutorial by Jennifer McGuire.

I love those wee deer from the Winter Wonderland die set, especially this little guy who is looking up xo  His bow is from the Village Christmastime die set and the stamped sentiment from the Christmas Classic stamp set, stamped with Wendy Vecchi's Geranium Archival ink.

The two tunnel layers were stenciled with Candied Apple Distress Ink through the Nordic and Peppermint Layering stencils.  Some stars were die cut from gold Metallic Kraft Stock with Simon Says Stamp's Large Holiday Shapes dies and attached to the inner tunnel layer so that they would pop forward when the card was opened.

Woodlands tree die cuts were adhered to the back of the tunnel and covered with a bit of Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter.  More of the gold stars were also scattered here and there along with a stamped sentiment from the Great Outdoors stamp set.

One of the garlands from the Village Christmastime die set was attached to the front tunnel element so it would pop forward when the card was opened and another of those adorable deer was added to the very front.

I'm totally smitten with the dimension on these cards!  Think I am going to try three tunnel layers now, wish me luck!

Winter is arriving early here in B.C., we awoke to snow on the mountains around our home and a few flakes are flying here at the house although not sticking to the ground quite yet!

I'm definitely in a Christmas frame of mind looking out the windows today so off to make more cards, I'll be back soon and until then happy creating!

  1. What a fabulous tunnel card Deb x I adore the wonderful details inside and out x Love the photograph too x BC always reminds me of Sotland as I was lucky enough to visit Vancouver many years ago and enjoyed a spectacular seaplane trip over Whistler/glaciers that I will remember forever.

    Have great weekend
