Snowflake Tunnel Card At A Vintage Journey

Hi everyone, just popping in to let you know that I have a tutorial for my Snowflake tunnel card over at A Vintage Journey today.

Every fourth Friday the Creative Guides design a Creative Card Making tutorial over at A Vintage Journey and this month it was my turn.  As you well know I've been obsessed with shadow box and tunnel cards lately so it was no surprise that I decided to make this card LOL!

I used Tim Holtz's Great Outdoors stamp and Mini Starry stencil on the front with a flurry of Mini Swirly Snowflakes.

This cabin from Tim's Holiday Drawings stamp set is one of my all time favourites xo

Lots of Mini Swirly Snowflakes scattered here and there on this card, all stamped in Tumbled Glass Distress Ink.

And it wouldn't be a crisp and clear winter night without some stars so I die cut them from sanded silver Metallic Kraft Stock.

A simple sentiment from the Great Outdoors stamp set for the front of the tunnel assembly.

I am totally enamoured by these tunnel cards, very late to the party I know but they are so much fun!

And I stamped a Doodle Greetings 1 sentiment onto the facing page on this card to finish it off.

Hope you can pop by for my how to, it was a challenge to describe how to assemble it in a step by step tutorial but hoping it's fairly clear (and if not I've given you links to Jennifer McGuire's 'Inside Tunnel Card' tutorial on YouTube which is where I learned to make them, thanks Jennifer!).  Hope to see you at A Vintage Journey,

Deb xo
