Love Is The Key Mixed Media Canvas For Therm O Web

Hello and thanks for stopping by.  I have a mixed media canvas to share with you over on Therm O Web's blog today that I created for their booth #2136 at Creativation 2020 with their Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets and Deco Foil Metallix Gels.

I wanted to showcase some of the ways you can use both the Flock Transfer Sheets and Metallix Gels and this little Valentine's Day inspired canvas was the result.

I used a paint texture comb with the White Pearl Metallix Gel on patterned cardstock.

And embossed this Pure Gold Metallix Gel heart with an embossing folder.

The Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets stamp beautifully so I used Tim Holtz's Papillon stamp on this Ruby Red Flock heart.

It's hard to see in this pic because I die cut this piece of flocked cardstock but one of my favourite ways to use the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets is with iCraft Easy-Cut Adhesive on top of  patterned cardstock.  This is Pink Carnation Flock on top of a piece of Tim Holtz's Wallflower scrapbook paper die cut with a KaiserCraft die.

And my new favourite way to use the Metallix Gels is finger painting them for an aged patina effect, it's spectacular!

The Flock Transfer Sheets not only stamp beautifully but they also look gorgeous when embossed, I used Tim Holtz's Flourish Texture Fades embossing folder for this little Tuscan Gold flocked heart.

And of course you can stencil with the Deco Foil Metallix Gels but why stop with one colour when you can mix and match three?  I used White Pearl, Champagne Mist and Pure Gold through Southern Ridge Trading Companies Heart stencil, love the effect of the blended Metallix Gels.

Hope you can pop by Therm O Web's blog for my step by step tutorial and make sure to pop by their blog all this week as the rest of the design team shares what they made for Creativation; lots of inspiring eye candy to come with Therm O Web's wonderful new products!

Thanks as always for stopping by today and happy creating,

Deb xo
