Winter Forest Snowglobe Inspired Vignette Box For Therm O Web

Hello everyone and happy New Year!  Hope you all had a fun holiday season and that 2020 brings us all peace, joy and creativity xo  I'm starting out my year of creativity with a snowglobe inspired mixed media vignette box that I created for Therm O Web's Snowglobe week over on their blog (I was thinking outside of the globe LOL!)

I have a step by step tutorial over on Therm O Web's blog to show you how I made this wintery scene with Therm O Web's Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets and Designer Toner Sheets inside one of Tim Holtz's Vignette Boxes.

Deco Foil Silver Stars Foil was die cut with Tim's Swirling Stars die over top an embosssed White Latte Deco Foil Flock background.

The Tree Line die and Winter Wonderland deer also made an appearance.  The trees were die cut from more Deco Foil Flock (Emerald Green) and the deer from sanded Classic Kraft Stock.  A 'snow bank' of Ranger Opaque Matte Texture Paste helped them to stand up inside the snowglobe snowbox!

Artificial snowflakes and Distress Clear Rock Candy Glitter were used for the snow and a piece of foiled Polka Dots Clear Designer Toner Sheet enclosed the scene.

The outside of the box was simply white washed and then embellished with Paper Snowflakes cut from more Silver Stars Deco Foil.

Hope you can pop by Therm O Web's blog for my how to, see you there!

  1. Wowzer, those sparkling stars and snowflakes look amazing... and I love the rugged texture of your snowdrifts too. The back of the box looks just as good as the inside - great attention to detail!
