Hello everyone, popping in to let you know that I have a quick and easy tutorial over on Southern Ridge Trading Company's blog today for my Adore Valentine's Day card created with Southern Ridge's Heart stencil, Taneesha Heart and Love and Hearts Banner chipboard and Wood Adore Tags.
I was inspired by Julia Chupik of Paradise Lost, she made a beautiful card with some water colour pigments, utilizing the white space on her background wonderfully (click here to see her process video). I always struggle with leaving ANY white space so decided to give it a go myself. While no where near as expert as Julia, have to admit I do like the way it turned out, thanks for the inspiration Julia!
Hope that you have a minute to pop by for my how to, this one makes up quick so even though Vday is coming soon, you could easily make this one in time for your own sweetie! See you there,
Deb xo

It's lovely. I really like the looks of the background
ReplyDeletePretty card Deb! I went over specifically to learn how you put the little hearts on the background. Oh,...I have some texture paste! I just haven’t managed to master it yet. Practice, practice, right? I’m still learning to leave white space myself. But I’m so head over heels with watercolors right now. I love them. Thanks for sharing your process.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFULLY ELEGANT and SWEETLY ENTICING!!! And YES... I ADORE it!!! Happy Valentine's Day Deb!! Xj.
