Hello everyone, I have a tutorial over on Therm O Web's blog today for my autumnal mixed media plaque created with Deco Foil Foil and Flock Transfer Sheets and Sculpey Original Oven-bake clay.
We are doing a cross promotion with Sculpey this week and they very generously sent me a whole selection of their products to play with, I had so much fun! I'd never worked with oven-bake clay before and had a bit of a stiff learning curve at the beginning but was blown away by what I discovered I could do with it. And I know I've just scratched the tip of the iceberg in that regard so can't wait to play more.
One of the most exciting things that I discovered was that Therm O Web's Deco Foil Foil can be transferred directly to the Sculpey Original clay sheets and then manipulated to give this amazing crackle finish!
Or you can bake and paint the clay first and then add foil accents to the clay with the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen. This texture was created with Sculpey's Art Deco Leaf Nature Texture Sheet, love it!
Hope you can pop by Therm O Web's blog for the how to, I've got lots more to share with you (Sculpey's Silk Screens when combined with Deco Foil Duo Transfer Gel and Deco Foil Foil are to die for!) Happy creating,
Deb xo
